DevOps engineer

As a DevOps engineer on our knowledge management platform, you are responsible for building, testing, deploying, and managing MediaWiki applications on our cloud-based infrastructure. You utilize modern DevOps tools and methods to optimize the quality and speed of software delivery. You work closely with the development and operations teams to find the best solutions for our users and customers.

We are looking for someone with knowledge of, experience with or interested in

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a DevOps engineer or a similar role.
  • Experience working with MediaWiki or a similar open-source software project.
  • Extensive experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Git, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Nagios, and HAProxy, among other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Basic programming knowledge.
  • Experience automating tasks through bash scripting; experience with Python is a plus.
  • Knowledge of networking (Cisco) is a plus.
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
