15 years of ArchiXL - a few highlights

ArchiXL, a consultancy firm specializing in knowledge management and architecture, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.

Since its inception, ArchiXL has played a significant role in transforming organizations through innovative technological solutions. In honor of this milestone, ArchiXL takes a look at some of the most memorable highlights from its history.

1. Founding in December 2007: One of ArchiXL's significant milestones is its establishment in 2007. The moment when Danny Greefhorst and others started the company marked the birth of ArchiXL, accompanied by the slogan "Accelerate 2 Excellence."

2. Relocation to Nijverheidsweg-Noord 60A-27 in 2008: After initially renting office space for one day a week, the decision was made to secure a permanent office. This location offered the ability to store company belongings and create a desired layout, not to mention the characteristic paintings adorning the walls.

3. Introduction of training courses by ArchiXL in 2009: Knowledge sharing has always been an integral part of ArchiXL. This commitment is evident in the various publications on architecture and knowledge. Therefore, it is no surprise that ArchiXL has also started offering training courses and workshops to further promote knowledge dissemination.

4. Introduction of WikiXL in 2010: Exploring the realm of semantic wikis and their application in knowledge management led to the development of ArchiXL's first product, WikiXL. This knowledge management platform focused on structuring, integrating, and sharing architecture, knowledge, and content.

5. Delivery of the Triple A wiki in 2011: The completion of the Triple A encyclopedia wiki for MBO-ICT showcased nearly all available options and extensions at the time, including custom solutions for specific challenges. This accomplishment made the Triple A wiki the flagship project of WikiXL.

6. Crossing the 10-employee mark in 2013: With the arrival of two new team members in 2013, ArchiXL's employee count surpassed 10 for the first time. This number proved to be sustainable, as the company has not experienced significant growth in the workforce since then.
