Today, we’re proud to share that our domain security has been fully upgraded to the latest standards. With the implementation of DKIM and DANE, our email infrastructure is now complete — and our outbound email scores top marks on all key authentication and security checks.

Why we made this upgrade

SPF and DMARC help prevent unauthorized emails from being sent on behalf of our domain. But without DKIM, recipients can’t check if a message has been modified in transit. And without DANE, there’s no assurance that TLS connections to our servers are truly secure and legitimate.

We wanted to close those gaps — and fully secure the chain of trust in our communications.

What our security stack now includes

• SPF — Specifies which mail servers are authorized to send emails on behalf of our domain.
• DMARC — Determines how receiving servers should handle unauthenticated messages.
• DKIM — Provides every outgoing email with a digital signature, allowing the recipient to verify its authenticity and integrity.
• DANE + DNSSEC — Anchors our TLS certificates in DNS in a secure and verifiable way, so that encrypted connections are truly reliable.

With these four layers, our email security is fully up-to-date according to the most modern standards.

The result

After adding DKIM and DANE to our existing SPF and DMARC configuration, we immediately noticed the benefits:

Our settings have been validated via multiple independent tools, and we are proud that our domain now achieves the maximum score for email and DNS security.
