Danny Greefhorst from ArchiXL has done an excellent job. With a great deal of expertise and much attention to guiding the process, a product has been created that enjoys broad support and appreciation among the institutions. It is especially impressive that the result is not perceived as restrictive, but rather as authoritative. This has an important positive effect on the effectiveness of the reference architecture.

In the project ‘Regie in de Cloud’, administrators, CIOs, directors, and architects from universities of applied sciences and universities worked together with SURF to develop a common i-Strategy and the Higher Education Reference Architecture (HORA). ArchiXL led, among other things, the process in which the reference architecture was developed with a large number of architects from many universities of applied sciences and universities.
